How to pick a size
Above furniture, art looks right at two thirds to three quarters of the furniture’s width. On a bare wall, it should leave at least 30 cm of wall on each side. Hang the centre 145 to 152 cm from the floor. The wall art size calculator does the arithmetic for your own furniture.
Inch sizes and A sizes
The inch sizes (8 × 10 to 36 × 48) are the standard in the United States and Canada. The A sizes (A4 to A0) are the standard in Europe, the UK and most of the world, and each one is exactly twice the one before. A2 sits close to 18 × 24 inches, and A1 close to 24 × 36.
